The artist unified this silk banner by using many forms of lines. he/ she uses straight and curvy lines. the artist also used many shapes. he/ she uses circules and squares to give the silk banner a semi-naturel designe.

The artist has created unity in the silk scarf with many different elements of art. For example, the artist used color to unify the scarf. The black outline of the scarf holds the different patterns and colors used throughout the scarf together; otherwise I feel that the piece may be a bit distracting and have too many points of interest and nothing to hold them together, that my eyes would dart all throughout the piece without ever really focusing and admiring it for the whole. The artist also uses pattern to unify the scarf. There are repeating squares that all have different patterns and colors inside them filling up about half of the scarf. There are also gold swirls that vary slightly in style on opposite sides of each other, and more gold swirls on the other side of the scarf. There is also a pattern of differently colored spheres on the other side of the scarf. In this way the artist also uses the element of shape. The same three shapes of square, swirls, and spheres, are used throughout the artwork. I feel that all these things bring together the scarf, all the elements used in it are pieces of the whole, relying on each other rather than independent from each other, and therefore are unified.

This silk scarf shows unity by having many shapes like squares, rectangles, and circles. It also shows unity because of the wavy lines that make shapes, also the spirles made by lines. There's also a lot of color that definetly shows much unity. Its the main part of the whole scarf. Without the color it wouldn't look as good as it does.
