The artist used line, color, and shape in this painting to make certain aspects or pieces of the mural to stand out over others and give it dimensions. They also used contrast in the mural around the large head when they would color the geometric shapes the used different shades of the same color to make them stand out. The emphasis point is also used, I would say that it is the large geometric head that is off to the left is the focus point because it is so different from the rest of the painting. I think the artist is trying to say that in this world there are many different things and people yet no matter what color, or pattern or shade they are all the same and they are beautiful. I think this because they have out so many different things into the painting that are different yet all look beautiful when put together.
One element used in this piece is texture. Texture is used because the overlapping circles look like scales, So it looks like if you we're to touch looks as if it would feel rough. Another element used is space, it is used because almost all things overlap with another. This artist also uses line. the spiraling lines behind the face looking circle. This piece has a lot of movement. it may just be the way the picture was taken, but my eyes move from the left from the point of emphasis to the right. I believe the artist id trying to say people like to hide behind a false since of security.
Three elements the artist used are line, color, and shape. The artist incorporated warm, cool, and neutral colors throughout the mural. Line was incorporated around the big geometric face and the big waves behind the head. Shape is on some of the waves and in the big face and many other places on this mural. Two principles used are contrast and movement. Contrast is found between the colors and also between sharp and soft lines. Movement is created in the waves and your eye moves down the mural from there.
It uses color because it pops, It uses line because they outline the color, It uses colored shapes therefore it also uses shape. It uses Emphasis on the eyes because they pop, it uses movement because the way the pattern works it looks like it's moving.
It has color because its so brightly colored that it can catch peoples attention from a distance
In the mural, I think the artist used value. It is clearly visible within the organic shapes. There are different shades of blue and yellow combined with their own color, which creates contrast. These different values also have texture. They help to create movement which is really attention grabbing. Color also plays a large role in the piece, which further more strengthens the contrast. I think the claim is based off this, and it is, "Be comfortable and confident in your differences, embrace diversity.".
One element that is used in this mural would be color. The amount of color in this piece varies through the whole piece. Another element in this piece would be value. Value is used through out the piece by having colors that are brighter and darker than each other. A final element in the piece would be texture. The artist purposely Make the piece look like it would feel different than it looks. This art piece has a lot of movement through out the whole piece. The piece makes you look at the face then to the photographer and so on through. The emphasis of the piece is definitely more towards the middle. This is because that is where all the things are painted.
