this artist uses the line of the water and the line of the ship rust marks to make it have more emanisis. he has a good contrast with the white arm against the black ship. the hand is what really hold the art peace its self together.
The principles of art used in this mural are contrast and balance. Contrast is used by having the skin color against the black of the ship. Balance is used by having the arm on one side of the ship and the head on the other side of the ship. The elements of art used in the mural are space and value. Space is used by how the arm is away from the head, and value is used in the woman's face.
Sean Yoro used form by having the person look 3-D, he also uses texture by making it look very smooth. He also uses movement because when it is high tide and only the hand is showing it makes you want to see the rest of the body and when it is at low tide you still want to see the rest of it.He uses emphasis by having the hand the main part of the art piece.
This artist uses emphasis when the hand is rising from the picture. The artist uses movement with the dirty squares throughout the picture. The artist uses line with straight lines, and overlapping lines. The artist uses shape with different the different sized squares.
The artist uses space which him utallizing the water at its different tides. He uses movement because your eyes go from the water to her finger tips and around the boat. The artist uses emphasis by making the mural about the woman. The texture of her being like she was in the water.
Texture and value is shown in these pictures because the texture of the girls face looks like it is wet from the water when it rises also value is shown by the shininess on the girls face to represent that her face is wet. Movement and rhythm is also shown in these picture. Movement is shown when you follow the tide when it gets lower and you then can see the rest of the painting. Rhythm is also shown in this picture because in the arm the strokes of the paint brush look regular.
