Emphasis and Movement

Take a look at the Japanese tattoo. Where is the emphasis in the tattoo? How has the artist made this the emphasis? Your eye looks first at the area of emphasis. Where does it move next? where does your eye end up? How has the artist made you move through the tattoo? Post your comment by Friday, Jan. 30.

in this tattoo the first thing i look at is the flower it stands out next to the carp. next my eyes look look at the scales on the carp and it makes my eyes wanna follow the carps body and just see the pure detail that has been put in.

The emphasis of this tattoo is on the fish in the water. The artist made this emphasis by making the fish the biggest and most colorful design in the tattoo. The artist also uses more detailed lines on the fish than he/she does on the lily pad. My eyes move next to the woman’s shoulder and when my eyes cannot follow the fish any further, they move to the lily pad next to the fish. The artist made my eyes move through the tattoo by putting the emphasis on the fish, and the emphasis of the fish is the head. From there, your eyes move through the body of the fish, and finally to the lily pad, the place with no emphasis.

The emphasis in the tattoo is on the flower. After that my eye goes to the loo's head and follows to its tail. Finally, my eye stops on the waves beneath the loo fish. The artist has made you flow throughout the tattoo from right to left.

I think the emphasis in this tattoo is in the flower on her shoulder. The artist mad the flower the emphasis by putting bright colors in it to bring unity to the tattoo. Next I look to the hear of the fish. then I look form head to tail of the fish to the tail of it. The artist moves you though the tattoo by the colors of the tattoo and the shading in it.

The emphasis of the tattoo is the pink flower because it uses very bright colors compared to the rest of the artwork and really catches your eye. My eye then looks at the fish because it is wrapped around the flower and makes the flower "pop out". The artist made me look first at the area with the most detail and vibrant colors and then you see the parts that aren't as eye catching, but make the emphasis more detailed and "moving".

The emphasis is in the flower. This is because it has a brighter color and it draws the eye to it.

The emphasis on this tattoo is the lotus flower. This is emphasized by the coy that is bending around it, my eye moves to the fish's head next. I look up the fish to the tail, where my eye ends.
